About the founder
My experience in the traditional apprenticeship system opened my eyes to how unkind and limiting the industry can be for new artists. What was meant to be support often became silence, and individuality rarely had space to grow.
After experiencing an apprenticeship that fell short of its promise — a common reality for many new artists — and struggling to have their unique style recognized in a traditionally male-dominated environment, the vision for a different path became clear.
Chrome ink was created to offer that better path: a learning space where every student receives the right tools, patient support, and genuine respect for their individuality. This studio exists to empower new artists, so no one has to feel lost, overlooked, or dismissed on their way into the tattoo industry.
